Who we are

We are the first HackerRank Campus Crew chapter in Mexico, based in Guadalajara, Jalisco. We operate as an inter-university community, born at Red UdG but extending to any campus in the region.

Our goal is to empower students in Guadalajara with the tools, mentorship, and knowledge to successfully navigate the transition from academia to the professional tech world.

What we do

Career guidance talks

Sessions to guide students on their professional path and real industry expectations.

Technical workshops

Sessions on best practices, programming languages, and modern development tools.

Industry preparation

Mentorship on resumes, LinkedIn, and technical/behavioral interview simulation.

Problem Solving Contests

Logic and algorithm competitions (ICPC-style format) to elevate analytical skills.

HackerRank Certifications

We encourage students to validate their skills with Big Tech companies through official certifications.

Networking

We connect students with experienced talent from the real industry.

What we are NOT

• We are not an exclusive Competitive Programming club. We touch on it, but prioritize general professional skills.
• We are not a political or student organization. We are an independent technical community, without political affiliations or university politics.
• We are not from a single campus. Although we operate strongly at UdG, our vision is city-wide.
